A breakfast that tastes like a treat but works hard for your body!

These fluffy banana pancakes are one of my favourite go-to breakfasts when I want something quick, satisfying and genuinely good for me. They take about 15 minutes, use just 5 ingredients, and they keep you full for hours. No sugar, no fuss, just real food!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 30 grams whey protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons self-raising flour
  • 1 drizzle of honey
  • 1 handful of mixed berries (raspberries & blueberries)

How to make it

  1. Mash the banana well with a fork until smooth
  2. Add the egg and beat together
  3. Mix in the Greek yogurt
  4. Fold in the protein powder and self raising flour — don't overmix!
  5. Cook in a non-stick pan on medium heat, about 2–3 minutes each side until golden
  6. Stack up, top with berries and a little drizzle of honey 🍯

📝 Nina's Tips

Use a really ripe banana — the riper the better for natural sweetness! Vanilla whey protein is my personal favourite for this one. And don't rush the cooking — low and slow gives you that perfect golden colour without burning.

NOTES

This recipe makes 3 pancakes — 1 serving. Double or triple the ingredients for more servings. Use a ripe banana for natural sweetness. Any flavour of whey protein works; vanilla is especially delicious!
